Registration error after using imaging software to distribute MSSA licensed product
You distributed a multiseat standalone (MSSA) licensed product using machine imaging software, such as Symantec Ghost. The first 5 machines started without errors. However, all susequent machines displayed registration error 10 when the product was launched.
Supported installation methods for AutoDesk Products
You are installing AutoDesk products and you want to know which installation and deployment methods have been tested by Autodesk. PLEASE NOTE: Other third-party installation or deployment methods have not been tested and are NOT supported by Autodesk. These methods include, but are not limited to: Other third-party "push" install services and machine imaging products, such as Symantec Ghost.
Network Deployment Troubleshooting Guide
This guide offers troubleshooting advice to ensure a successful network deployment of Autodesk products. If you are setting up a network deployment for the first time, follow the instructions in the Network Administrator’s Guide – available as a PDF file on the product installation DVD. PLEASE NOTE: The guide is availalble under the document section on each software disc. Failure to use tested and approved installation methods will result in a loss of available tech support. Teaching Systems strongly recommends that users print out and/or read the network administrators guide entirely before beginning to install any AutoDesk software product.
